MEET THE OWNERS

 

Heath Stevison was born and raised in Westlake, LA. He attended Westwood Elementary, Lakewood Christian Academy, and ultimately joined the United States Marine Corps in 2002. Heath has always been a servant for his community. He was a volunteer firefighter for Ward 1 and has been active with the CPSO for many years. His security background includes working for Armor Group North America (a worldwide security company) as well as working for the CPSO both in the correctional facility and as a patrol officer. Heath and his wife, Jessica, have been married for two years.

Jeff Hooper is a lifelong resident of Lake Charles and a graduate of Lake Charles Christian School. He also attended McNeese State University. He has always had the heart to serve the community. He served as a deputy with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office for 14 years, where he served as a School Resource Officer, Jr. Deputy Instructor, patrolman and was appointed to the Crime Deterrent Unit twice. He has been married to his beautiful wife Melody for 16 years and they have 3 wonderful children.

HOW IT STARTED

 

Jeff and Heath have been friends for nearly 20 years. They worked together at the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office and both attend  Livingway Pentecostal Church. They possessed a desire for entrepreneurship, so they decided to go into business together. Given their backgrounds, they decided that Security would be the perfect fit. After much planning and prayer Apex Alarms was formed and has been proudly serving Southwest Louisiana residents with the highest level of protection for their homes and businesses.
